Sonen Capital is an Advisors Bay member at Confluence Philanthropy. Confluence Philanthropy is a non-profit network of over 320 private, public and community foundations, which represent nearly $134 billion in philanthropic assets. They build capacity and provide technical assistance to enhance the ability of foundations to align the management of assets with organizational mission to promote environmental sustainability and social justice.

INCR is a network of over 100 institutional investors representing more than $13 trillion in assets committed to addressing the risks and seizing the opportunities resulting from climate change and other sustainability challenges.
Sonen Capital is a proud supporter of the Paris Agreement and is a signatory to several statements of support for continued U.S. participation in the global accord. The Paris Agreement is a legally binding international treaty on climate change adopted by almost all members of the United Nations. The agreement’s goal is to limit global warming to well below 2 degrees, preferably to 1.5 degrees Celsius, compared to pre-industrial levels. To achieve this long-term goal, signatory countries aim to achieve a climate neutral world by mid-century.
The Portfolio Decarbonization Coalition (PDC) is a multi-stakeholder initiative that will drive GHG emissions reductions on the ground by mobilizing a critical mass of institutional investors committed to gradually decarbonizing their portfolios. PDC memberships represent $35 billion in assets under management and growing.
Sonen Capital is signatory of the Chemical Footprint Project (CFP). The CFP’s mission is to transform global chemical use by measuring and disclosing data on business progress to safer chemicals. It provides a tool for benchmarking companies as they select safer alternatives and reduce their use of chemicals.
Sonen Capital is a member of The Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility (ICCR), a coalition of faith and values-driven organizations who view the management of their investments as a powerful catalyst for social change. Sonen Capital is a member of the Thirty Percent Coalition. The Thirty Percent Coalition is a national organization committed to the goal of women holding 30% of board seats across public companies. The Coalitions work is on the demand side of board diversity – influencing corporations to strengthen their efforts to increase the number of women on their boards.
